A new home for the Moonshiner Gin distillery
It’s a step up from our old kitchen bench in Newtown. The new premises are on the border of Marrickville in the same neighbourhood as Grifter, Poor Toms, Mobius, Batch and Sauce, just to name a few of our flavoursome neighbours. Our new premises are small, but not as small as our kitchen and we’ve been making it homely with some recycled shelving and drawers, our old dining table, a microwave that was left out in the street and a bunch of hand me down foldout chairs. Thank you neighbours.
In amongst our new bottles and boxes, there’s just enough room for our micro stills, botanicals and flavoursome infusions.
And who knows one day we might even open up our new home away from home to tastings. Cheers all.
