Unleash your inner alchemist and conjure a gin as unique as you.
Get your mad scientist vibes fired up for this fun-filled Moonshiner experience. Start with a welcoming cocktail as we describe our own flavour-fuelled Gin methodology.
We'll take you through the classic range of noble botanicals used to infuse flavour and uniqueness into the Gin. You’ll get to smell and taste these flavours through a series of single-flavour botanical distillates. The building blocks of Gin making.
Then start your own Gin journey with 2 x 100mls of basic Gin; the isolated distillates and some easy Gin recipes to start you on your way.
Take home two new Gin creations to impress your friends.

Your path to Gin-lightenment
Start on your path to Gin-lightenment in an intimate tasting session in Moonshiner’s distillery.
Off the bustling inner west Sydney streets is the home of Moonshiner Gin, a cosy haven where you’ll be greeted with a flavourful cocktail and the colourful story of how Moonshiner came to be.
Every participant will be presented with 5 deconstructed G&Ts. Then one of our founders will talk through the ingredients that make each Gin distinct. You’ll also learn how tonic and garnishes influence the flavour.
And with a weath on knowledge under your belt, the experience finishes with a G&T of your choice.

Tonic teaser
Tonics ain’t tonics. And they can make the world of difference to your Gin experience.
Moonshiner Distillery offers you the ultimate Tonic pairing experience. Discover how the right tonic can transform your Gin into a symphony of flavour, enhancing the noble botanicals, while others would convince you the same Gin is undrinkable.
This super fun session starts with a welcoming Moonshiner cocktail and learning the colourful story of how Moonshiner came to be.
Then it’s on with the real show.
To illustrate what a difference a tonic makes, we’ll pour you a sample of our Georgina Street Pear & Lime. Taste it neat, and then with tonic. The effect is magical.
This is followed by 6 blind tonic pairings with our fragrant and flavourful Margaret Street, Signature Gin. You’ll be amazed at how the tonic changes the flavour and texture of the gin.
Tell us your favourite & bragging rights go to whoever guesses the tonics along the way.
And the session wouldn’t be complete without a G&T to finish – with the tonic of your choosing.
