Moonshiner Gin street art influenced labels
The labels and botanical elements on the back of our labels were designed by Kasey, the niece of one of our founding members with a guiding hand of her dad Steve and Rachel, our generous professional designer friend.
They’re influenced by the world class street art on display all around Newtown and each label features a number of iconic landmarks, including the chimney stacks in Sydney park, the lights of King street, the roadside botanicals that grow under the old telegraph wires and if you look closely you’ll find four animals. These animals represent our four founding members. Think of them as our spirit animals.
Each of our gins also bears the name of a street in Newtown. This is a practice from when we first started experimenting with Gin and would name them after the streets surrounding us. We decided to keep this element to personalise each one and remind us of our roots. Now you can take a little piece of Newtown with you.
