A fragrant and flavourful one-off experience


Gin aficionados listen up. Moonshiner is taking you to the birthplace of Gin and Tonic in their most mouth-watering Gin Dinner yet.

Moonshiner is partnering up with renown Chef Mohammad Sali of Malabar in Darlinghurst for an exquisite, tailor-made dinner perfectly paired with our flavourful, fragrant Gin.

You’ll start the night with a welcoming cocktail featuring our Aussie Native Gin, mint, ginger, lime and a splash of sweetness.

The first course Tandoori Grilled Salmon, cooked to perfection and accompanied by our Alice Street Pomegranate Gin.

The rich berry nature of our Pomegranate Gin, melds perfectly with the Tandoori spices adding another dimension to the dish.


Second course is Saag Spatchcock with Saffrom Rice and Paratha, matched perfectly with our Clara Street Kumquat Gin. 

Our Kumquat Gin has a strong, refreshing citrus flavour that pairs beautifully with both the vegetable and protein portions of this dish.


And final course is a full flavoured Lamb Pepper Masala, accompanied by our Aussie Native Gin.

We normally pair this Gin with seafood, but Mohammad has surprised us by pairing it with his richest dish, and it’s delicious. The spicey botanicals matching perfectly with this pepper Masala.


We finish with a special cocktail creation by our chef Mohammad Sali that perfectly encapsulates the evening, full of depth and refreshingly spicy.
